An Unmarked Grave

Oh my dear how you've changed
For I can no longer look upon your face
And be filled with the joy I once possessed
Now its gone
Replaced with rage
Replaced with hate
Screaming does me no amount of good
Nor does the blood I lose from my own injuries
But to see that you are destroyed
My wish of nights passed by
To come true at last for me

I want you dead, rotting in the soil
To put my mind in no further turmoil
I want your heart in pale hand, still beating
To be the last thing you see while breathing
I want you begging, screaming, please forgive me
To hope for mercy you will never see

The youthful bliss no longer persists
Only weariness aging marrow and bone
The sun that smiled at me each morning
Now is gone
Replaced with scorching heat
Replaced with feelings bittersweet
Omniscient reminder of my lack of inherit good
Despite the blood lost from my own injuries
Your memory has yet to be destroyed
The wish of ever-passing nights
To come true at last for me

I want you dead, rotting in the soil
To put my mind in no further turmoil
I want your heart in pale hand, still beating
To be the last thing that you see while breathing
I want you begging, screaming, please forgive me
To hope for mercy you will never see

Strapped to the chair, you cannot escape
Each window covered, drape by drape
I see the panic on your pale and empty face
Your shallow pathetic life is mine to erase

I want you dead, rotting in the soil
To put my mind in no further turmoil
I want your heart in pale hand, still beating
To be the last thing that you see while breathing
I want you begging, screaming, please forgive me
To hope for mercy you will never see
